Abstract
Internal communication constitutes an essential element for the efficient functioning of public organizations, especially in administrative environments that depend on integration between sectors and the proper circulation of information. In this context, this article analyzes the influence of internal communication on the administrative efficiency of the 1st Secretariat of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Piauí. The research is based on the observation that communication failures constitute recurring obstacles to organizational performance in public institutions, generating rework, waste of resources, and compromising the quality of the services provided. The study adopts a qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research. The analysis shows that the structuring of formal communication channels contributes significantly to improving internal coordination, decision-making, and administrative efficiency. It is concluded that internal communication represents a strategic factor for strengthening administrative organization and improving institutional activities within the Legislative Branch.
